Devoted followers of the actress are demanding that a individual who leaped a barricade and seized the performer during yesterday's Wicked: For Good premiere be arrested or deported from Singapore.

A circulating footage reveals the Australian man pushing past media personnel and charging at Grande while the cast proceeded down a promenade flanked by fans.

Cast member Cynthia Erivo quickly pulled the stunned performer away from Mr Wen, who was observed being escorted out of the event by guards.

Mr Wen posted on Instagram Thursday evening that he was "free after being taken in", though legal records showed that he was due to be present on the following morning. It is uncertain if he was faced legal action.

Pattern of Event Invasions

This is not the first time for Mr Wen, who calls himself a "Controversial Figure", has crashed a performance. His Instagram feed contains videos of him disturbing other high-profile occasions, including rushing the platform at the artist's Sydney show in earlier this year and in a similar way during The Chainsmokers event in the area last year.

"Steps should be implemented taken against him as this is clearly a punishable act," wrote an Instagram follower, in a response to a video Mr Wen shared of his behavior.

"This appears to be a habit... why are you not imprisoned?" another Instagram user questioned.

Fans Express Concern Over Grande's Well-being

Several fans criticized Mr Wen for "causing further distress" Grande, who had discussed suffering from trauma-related anxiety after a suicide bomb attack at the finale of her May 2017 performance in Manchester, resulting in the death of 22 people and harming many.

"The star has endured numerous terrifying experiences... including the Manchester tragedy, and you believed breaching security was amusing?" commented one more response on Instagram.

Some fans also questioned guards at the Thursday event for not being adequately prepared; while different individuals called for online networks to remove Mr Wen's content.

Response and Event Details

In videos spreading on the internet, Grande seemed surprised when she was approached by the individual. Her fellow actors Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be seen comforting her while Mr Wen was led out by staff.

Grande has not issued a statement on the situation, and the premiere activities continued without further issues.

Many of Singapore attendees had waited to meet the cast of Wicked

Many of attendees had gathered in a crowd of colorful attire at the Wicked: For Good regional debut in a Singapore venue, including a number who had queued for as long as a significant duration before it commenced.

The film, to be released on the 21st of November, is the second of a two-film version of the well-known Broadway and West End production Wicked, which focuses on the unlikely relationship between two very different sorceresses.

The production itself is a spin-off of the twentieth-century children's novel The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

Grande, who portrays the good witch Glinda, was adorned in a champagne pink sparkling outfit at the event while Erivo, who plays the wicked witch, wore a black tube gown decorated with roses.

They were joined by cast member Jeff Goldblum.

The first movie, Wicked, was the top-earning movie of last year in the UK, and earned a dozen Oscar nominations, winning a pair for excellent wardrobe and artistic direction.
